Development update

Claire has been sick with a cold and a fever for three days now. She actually ruptured her eardrum as the result of yet another ear infection. She is now on antibiotics again. Ugh. But, even feeling crummy she has still found the energy to try new things. She loves to point to everything! Her favorites are all of the lights in the house. Claire is also particularly fond of playing "Ball". She holds it up and I grab it from her. I then roll it back to her and she catches it and squeals in delight. She loves her new books that have simple labeled objects. She loves, loves, loves her Dog and Cat books. As Sam was leaving for a business trip yesterday, she blew him a kiss. Far from what we know as blowing a kiss, but Sam and I both knew what she meant. Oh, and she can point to her tummy when you ask her and is starting to play peek-a-boo. She makes a fist and puts in up to her eye. All of these new tricks have developed within a few days of each other! We are just amazed...

P.S. She still has no interest in being on her feet. She'll try the stairs, but is not even close to anything resembling a walk. But, there is plenty of time for that . ;-)
