Chase Gearhart Tuttle

The absolute sweetest little boy on earth.

Our baby boy is not such a baby anymore.  I know I have said it before, but this makes me very emotional.  The finality of it all is consuming.  Knowing that the 'baby' of Chase is fading is hard for me.  With that being said, the joy he is bringing to our lives as he develops is just amazing.  Here are some of the latest tricks:

He has one more session with Ms. Marina (his Occupational Therapist).  He has made very quick strides with his gross motor skills since the summer.  He graduates with flying colors, completely walking, trying to run, climbing, and moving just more efficiently than before.

Chase's verbal skills have, for lack of a better word, exploded over the past couple of weeks.  He has so many words now such as: daint do (thank you), peaaaa (please), Lair (Claire), lalo (love you), muh (when he gives kisses), upppeee (up), and variations of water, milk, more, all done, auntie, uncle, squirrel, and the list goes on and on.  Sam and I find this chatter so incredibly sweet...

Not to mention that he is one of the happiest little boys.  He runs around saying, "I" (hi) to all with a wave and a beaming smile on his face.

I know it is cliche and a little bit corny to say, but Sam and I know that this almost wasn't to be- this life of four that we have grown to love and cherish so much.  We thank the good lord that he watched over us during the pregnancy and, most importantly, on 2/16/10 and allowed us this chance of complete happiness.
